About the role 
 

Due to the growth in our portfolio, we are looking for a Commercial Asset Manager to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. 

Our Commercial Asset Managers manage a portfolio of commercial properties on behalf of clients.  Your industry experience and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their current and future needs, will ensure you are successful in this role. With the backing of the Elders network in Hobart, across Tasmania and Nationally, you will be supported to learn and grow your career.   
 
Responsibilities 

As a Commercial Asset Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships to understand their current and future needs by:

  • Professionally managing a portfolio of properties
  • Providing expert advise to clients
  • Identifying opportunities for new and existing clients
  • Preparing and managing budgets and timely reporting to clients
  • Regular property inspections to ensure the highest level of presentation
  • Managing capital projects on behalf of the client
  • Managing compliance and building regulation requirements.
  • Interpreting and assisting with commercial leases.
  • Working with the Elders team to allow clients to explore new innovative opportunities  

About you 

To succeed at Elders, you:  

  • Have previous experience in the Property Industry (desirable)
  • Have a Property Representative Licence (or have the ability to obtain in the near future)
  • Have excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Be a team player who is enthusiastic, energetic and highly organised with good time management skills
  • Have a customer centric focus
  • Have basic financial and analytical skills
  • Be smart, resourceful, forward thinking and embrace technology
  • Hold a current Drivers Licence
