We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Commercial Housekeeper to join our professional, friendly, and supportive team at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu.

This hands-on role is essential to maintaining high cleanliness standards across our guest rooms, common areas, and staff facilities. You will perform a wide range of tasks to ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment in one of Australia’s most iconic locations.

Task & Responsibilities
  • Perform daily room cleaning including bedrooms, bathrooms, and the immediate outside areas to high presentation standards.
  • Replenish room amenities and guest supplies appropriate to room type.
  • Carry out routine and scheduled cleaning.
  • Ensure secure handling of keys and responsible access to guest rooms.
  • Report maintenance issues, damage, or lost property in line with procedures.
  • Uphold safety, security, and hygiene procedures.
  • Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals as per training and health guidelines.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
  • Support stock control and restocking of cleaning and linen supplies.

 

Qualification & Experience
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning preferred.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and repetitive movements.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow routines and safety procedures
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Current Driver’s License required.
