Commercial Housekeeper

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Commercial Housekeeper to join our professional, friendly, and supportive team at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu.

This hands-on role is essential to maintaining high cleanliness standards across our guest rooms, common areas, and staff facilities. You will perform a wide range of tasks to ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment in one of Australia’s most iconic locations.

Task & Responsibilities

Perform daily room cleaning including bedrooms, bathrooms, and the immediate outside areas to high presentation standards.
Replenish room amenities and guest supplies appropriate to room type.
Carry out routine and scheduled cleaning.
Ensure secure handling of keys and responsible access to guest rooms.
Report maintenance issues, damage, or lost property in line with procedures.
Uphold safety, security, and hygiene procedures.
Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals as per training and health guidelines.
Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
Support stock control and restocking of cleaning and linen supplies.

Qualification & Experience

Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning preferred.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and repetitive movements.
High attention to detail and ability to follow routines and safety procedures
Flexible, reliable, and able to work both independently and in a team.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Current Driver’s License required.
