About the role:
With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking a licenced Commercial Plumber to join our Building and Construction Services team to work on our various projects based in SA.
As a Commercial Plumber, you will report to the Plumbing Site Manager and play a vital role in project deliveries to achieve our stringent quality objectives and customer satisfaction. This role is primarily focused on project-specific works but will require flexibility to work on multiple work fronts such as maintenance, civil and fire systems etc.
This role is responsible for but not limited to;
Perform project-based plumbing duties
Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance requirements are met
Teach and lead apprentices working on the site
Read, interpret and communicate construction plans effectively and efficiently
Adhere to specific project-related compliance requirements
Strong commitment to WHS and environmental standards
Adhere to McMahon Services quality systems
About you:
To be successful, you will need:
To be a licenced Plumber
Demonstrated project-based experience in the commercial plumbing sector
Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
A problem-solving and innovative approach
Current Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card
Ability to work autonomously and as a team member
Your own standard trade tools – Speciality tools provided by the company
Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessment
Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearance
Willingness to travel for work within South Australia to our regional construction sites. In return, you will be provided with additional LAFHA (living away from home allowance)
