Job description

This role is for an Electronic engineer. A Electronic Engineer works as part of the commissioning team they will responsible for assisting the Commissioning Manager in ensuring that project MEP equipment and facilities are correctly installed and operating in accordance with the equipment and project specifications. The Engineer will utilize commissioning method statements and test records sheets to ensure that equipment and facilities undergo the correct testing and commissioning processes in line with industry standards and to confirm that all commissioning activities are correctly recorded, tracked and documented.

The key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform tasks as directed by the senior staff on site,

• Assist with commissioning appraisal of design/ shop drawing and specifications

• Maintain all site and office hard and soft copy drawing and test results documentation

• Assist with reviews or contractor/ manufacturer response method statements

• Assist with commissioning schedule and tracking sheet updates

• Review and comment as necessary on the contractor’s completed commissioning records

• Witness contractor’s testing and commissioning results and confirm compliance

• Assist in developing tests scripts for projects

• Participate and host commissioning meeting

• Assist with commissioning status reports throughout the project

• Review O&M Manual prior to the client's system takeover

• Facilitate vendor training for client's acceptance

Qualifications Required

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or

• Electrical or Mechanical Certificate with at least 2 years on-site experience
