Commissioning Lead

NRW Civil & Mining is entering an exciting growth phase, and we are actively recruiting for a highly skilled Commissioning Lead to support the successful delivery of one of our major resource projects in the Pilbara region. This is a FIFO opportunity on a 2:1 roster (2 weeks on, 1 week off).

As a Commissioning Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the commissioning activities on site, ensuring systems and components are installed, tested, and operational in accordance with project specifications and schedules. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in driving the project toward safe, timely, and high-quality completion.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following as a minimum:

• Previous experience in a Commissioning Lead position within the non-process infrastructure (NPI) sector inclusive of electrical and mechanical aspects
• Proficiency in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) – experience with Aconex and Hexagon Completions and Commissioning Management System (CCMS) highly regarded
• Previous involvement in the commissioning of remote site facilities is strongly preferred
• Exceptional planning, coordination, and stakeholder relationship management skills
• Advanced Word and Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail
• Outstanding time management and organisational abilities, with a proven capacity to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced project environment
• BHP Experience is an advantage

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Coordinating all test and commissioning through stages 0 to 3
• Planning and scheduling the full commissioning process to align with project milestones
• Ensure all test and commissioning stage pre-requisites are met in accordance with the project, technical and practical requirements
• Implement the Project Commissioning Management Plan
• Managing the commissioning team and resources
• Ensure commissioning is complete safely
• Liaising with key stakeholders and client representatives throughout the commissioning phase
• Ensure all commissioning documentation is completed, collated and stored
• Provide advice on commissioning planning and procedures for improvement
• Complete all daily, weekly and monthly reporting on commissioning plan and progress
