Communication Technician / Data Cabler

BJM Engineering  trading as  BM Electrical and BJM Telecomms have proudly been completing work across South Australia and the NT for over 30 years, 

We are seeking Communications Tradespeople with Data Cabling and Fiber Optic experience.

We operate in a wide variety of sites from Holiday Parks, Schools , Universities, Health Facilities and manufacturing plants

The hours are Monday to Friday with overtime as required by our customers.

The successful candidate will need to tick as many attributes as possible:

• Fiber Optic Splicing and testing ability. 

• Commscope Systimax , Commscope Netconnect and Panduit Structured Cabling Systems

• Communication License with Endorsements.

• Security License.

• Knowledge of AXIS Camera Systems an Advantage

• Current driver’s License

• Industrial and Commercial environments

• Construction Induction Safety Certificate – White Card

• Current National Police and DCSI Clearance.

• EWP ticket including high risk.

• Confined spaces certificate an advantage.

• Consistent work history

• 2 listed references

Your greatest strengths will be to possess first-class technical skills combined with an ability to communicate with our Customers to meet or exceed their expectations, as well as enjoying working with evolving technology and equipment within the Electrical and Telecommunications Industries.

We supply a Company Vehicle, Uniform, Phone, Tablet and Specialty tools provided.
