Community Donation Volunteer

A volunteer is needed to manage community donations received by the Encircle Redcliffe Neighbourhood Centre.  Such donations include clothing and homewares, etc.--both new and used.

Duties will include receiving, sorting and presenting donated items, and assisting community members who are in need of such items.  The role will work with the existing Food Parcel Team, and will assist when required preparing food parcels for the local community.

Volunteers must be able to occasionally lift heavy donations.

**Volunteering Hours**
The Food Parcel Team works from 12 noon to 3pm on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays each week.  Although it is not necessary for a volunteer to be available for that whole period, preference will be given to candidates who are available for as much of that period as possible.

**Requirements**:
All volunteers require a current police check and blue card, both of which will be arranged by the Centre.
