About the Role: The Community Lead is a dynamic, community-focused role responsible for fostering relationships within the running community across Australia & New Zealand. This team member will play an integral part in building strong connections with run clubs, local KOL’s, brand activations, podiatry, medical communities, and staff training. A natural ambassador for the brand, the Community Lead will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance the runner's experience and elevate Hoka’s presence in the community. This is not a Monday-Friday, 9-5 job. It is a role that operates when the running community is active—during evenings, weekends, events, and runs. You will need to be adaptable, energetic, and deeply passionate about bringing joy, inspiration, and support to the runners you serve. The Community Lead will represent Hoka as a dedicated advocate for wellness, performance, and inclusivity in the running world. Your key responsibilities will include: Management of Podiatry & medical technical network & related brand strategy Elevate & oversee Hoka staff training initiatives across Hoka retail, Accent retail & Key wholesale partners Activate and drive Hoka presence at key weekly run clubs across NSW & QLD Activate and manage key Hoka activations within the community, at both large and small scaleCollaboratively work with brand marketing team to create & edit “community content” for multiple channels Drive Hoka KOL execution from seeding to product usage and testing Ensure activation of brand outside of 9-5, when runners are most present To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following: Demonstrated sound understanding of technical footwear Strong brand marketing experience and understanding of how brands activate content/community strategies Passion to work collaboratively with marketing & sales teams, to best activate targeted strategies with partners Passion to speak confidently within both large, small and individual audiences Ability to work with different levels of customers from shop floor sales staff to retail owners & brand marketing operators Ability to create and edit authentic content, captured through phoneAbility to passionately work outside of Monday-Friday At Accent Group Limited we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
