The Client

With an in-house customs and logistics team this household name controls the import and clearance processes for a broad range of commodities.

The Position

You will support the experienced customs specialists by:

Providing customs data entry support
Checking import documentation
Updating shipment files and reporting any irregularities
Liaising with clients and carriers regarding arrival schedules
Assisting classifiers and customs brokers with entry preparation

The Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have local customs or import freight forwarding experience plus:

Accurate and fast data entry skills
Knowledge of commercial documentation, shipping terms and Customs procedures
High attention to detail
Commitment to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills and corporate presentation
