You will be working across a range of diverse assets including Wind, Battery, Hydro, and Gas Turbines and Gas Engines. This role supports the implementation and management of legislative and regulatory compliance for AGL operating assets, as well as reporting on non-conformances, and supporting the on-going compliance uplift program. This role is also responsible for compliance assurance program through internal and external audit coordination, action management and reporting. What you'll be doingSupport the implementation of legislative compliance risk management strategies for AGL operating assets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including Asset Services, Group Risk & Compliance, HSE, Legal, Trading and Wholesale Reg.Determine the key regulatory, license and contractual obligations to ensure AGL meets the requirements and demonstrates a positive compliance culture.Complete gap assessment against relevant Acts and Regulations and review and update AGL Legislative Compliance database keep it up to date.Complete risk assessment against identified gaps and develop action plan and manage actions through AGL legislative Compliance Module in Periscope.Report any non-conformances and uplift program progress to AGL management and board, as required.Lead and participate in summer readiness review, 3rd party audits such as Safety, Reliability, Maintenance, Technical, Management Plan (SRMTMP), Support Essential Services Commission of SA (ESCOSA), and Office of the Technical Regulator (OTR) audits for South Australian Assets and action management.Site coordination, support and action management to AGL internal Group audits. What you'll bringTertiary qualification in Risk and Compliance, Business Management, Engineering, Law or equivalent.Qualification in legislative Governance and Risk Management is preferable but not mandatory.Interpersonal skills with high quality written and verbal communications skills.Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.Technical reporting skills with attention to detail.Strong analytical and conceptual skills.Understanding of the National Electricity Market and regulatory environment for the energy sector is preferable.
