About the role

SEQ Retaining Walls is seeking an experienced Concrete Sleeper and Boulder Retaining Wall Builders and Labourers to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Retaining Wall Builder, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality retaining walls for residential and commercial clients. This is a full-time position, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company.

What you'll be doing

• Interpreting design plans and specifications to construct retaining walls using a variety of materials, including concrete and stone

• Measuring and marking out work areas to ensure accurate placement of retaining wall components

• Operating machinery and equipment, such as excavators, jackhammers, and power tools, in a safe and efficient manner

• Collaborating with the project manager, landscapers, and other tradespeople to ensure the successful completion of each project

• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, following all relevant health and safety regulations

• Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Retaining Wall Builder or similar role in the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of retaining wall construction techniques, materials, and industry standards

• Ability to read and interpret design plans, specifications, and technical drawings

• Proficient in the use of power tools, machinery, and other construction equipment

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Commitment to safety and adherence to work health and safety regulations

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements
