We are seeking an experienced carpenter for an immediate start to join our dynamic and friendly team.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow construction plans and blueprints to build and install various wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.

  • Measure, cut, and assemble wooden components to construct framing, walls, floors, stairs, roofs, and other structural elements.

  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other finishing touches to complete the construction process

  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols.

What you’ll bring 

  • Proven experience as a Construction Carpenter (Trade Qualification), with a minimum of 2 years in the trade.

  • Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.

  • Must have your own tools.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.

  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery.

  • A commitment to safety, quality, and efficient work practices.

  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing job site conditions.

  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and being proactive. 

  • Valid driver's license.

  • White Card (Construction Induction Card).

  • Ability to pass a Police Integrity Check.

  • Any High Risk Work License (HRWL) tickets 

  • First Aid certificate (preferable)

Renumeration 

$80,000 - $85,000K package depending on experience.
