Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Engineer with proven experience in telecom rollout projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction phase of telecommunications infrastructure deployment, ensuring project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. A strong understanding of telecom rollout scheduling and project management is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction activities for telecom rollout projects, including mobile sites, DAS/IBS, and fiber builds.

·       Develop and manage detailed rollout schedules, ensuring all milestones are tracked and met.

·       Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth execution of build activities.

·       Conduct site readiness assessments and ensure build quality in line with engineering standards.

·       Monitor construction progress and resolve any issues or delays proactively.

·       Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

·       Maintain documentation and reporting of build progress, site status, risks, and issues.

·       Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on constructability and scheduling.

·       Support site acceptance and handover to operations.

Key Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

·       5+ years of experience in telecom rollout/construction engineering.

·       Strong understanding of telecom site construction, infrastructure build, and installation processes.

·       Proficient in using scheduling and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Excel).

·       Excellent communication and coordination skills.

·       Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety protocols.

·       Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience with mobile network infrastructure (4G/5G, small cells, IBC/DAS).

·       Familiarity with telecom operator rollout procedures and quality standards.

·       PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
