Construction Project Manager

The Steelfixing Group NSW is a Sydney based construction company specializing  in multiple areas of expertise catering for all sectors of the construction industry. We provide services to our Partners and Clients across New South Wales. The Steelfixing Group NSW is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Project Manager to join our team.

This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Excellent English skills

  • The right to work in Australia

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification related to the field

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience

  • Team management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Strong time management skills

  • Positive communication skills, energy and attitude

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals, as well as technical and skilled workers

  • Ensure projects are built and delivered on time, within budget and to required quality specification

  • Interpreting architectural blueprints and specifications

  • Managing workforce allocation and overseeing the procurement and delivery of materials, machinery, and equipment

  • Developing and implementing coordinated project schedules

  • Supervising subcontractors' work quality and progress

  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards for performance, quality, cost, and safety
