CDR Group is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead maintenance and remedial projects in Melbourne, ranging from $5,000 to $1 million. This position requires hands-on expertise in managing all aspects of project delivery, including site inspections, coordinating trades, ensuring quality standards, tracking budgets, and maintaining client relationships.

Task & Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of maintenance and remedial construction projects.
  • Coordinate trades, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections, prepare scopes of work, and manage accurate project documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical and project-related issues.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and variations to ensure projects are delivered profitably.
  • Ensure all works comply with WHS, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and manage defect lists, facilitating handovers with clear reporting.
  • Foster site productivity, maintain team morale, and uphold high standards of workmanship.

Qualification & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of remedial construction methods, including waterproofing, concrete repair, and structural works.
  • Diploma in project management.
  • Current White Card and full driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret and manage drawings and scopes of work.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
