Talent International, a leading Australian recruitment firm, have been engaged by our long-standing client, a leading ASX-listed manufacturer, to source two Contract Administrators to support a major capital project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a landmark infrastructure upgrade at Port Kembla. Role Title: Contract AdministratorContract Length: Initial 12-month contract (highly likely to extend)Location + WFH Flexibility: Port Kembla, 5 days on site (50-hour week)Hourly Pay: Up to $110 per hour (flexible for the right candidate) Role Details: Our client are seeking two Contract Administrators to join a large Capital project at Port Kembla. These roles will work closely with Area Managers and Lead Engineers to provide commercial and administrative support for this major brownfield upgrade. You will be instrumental in helping manage contract documentation, progress claims, forecasting and change control in a dynamic project setting.Your day-to-day will include: Preparation of Recommend to Award documentation with the lead engineersAssisting the Principal's Representative with progress claims and variationsSupporting forecasting tasks and monthly updates for Area ManagersHelping generate and manage change events in Aconex CostCompiling supporting documents for purchase ordersWorking across multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities and ensuring contractual compliance Required Skills and Experience:Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, or project/contract management (engineering preferred)Prior experience in contract administration within construction, infrastructure or heavy industry projectsAbility to multitask, show initiative, and operate with high energy and attention to detailUnderstanding of project lifecycles and commercial processesStrong written and verbal communication skillsNo specific software knowledge required - Aconex training will be providedSuitable for either junior engineers seeking commercial experience or experienced contract administrators from the engineering space Additional Details & Benefits:Supportive team with 2IC responsibilitiesExposure to a significant reline project in the heavy manufacturing sectorExcellent opportunity for engineers wanting to move into contract review and managementFlexible hourly rate based on experienceLong-term opportunity with potential for extension To Apply:If this sounds like your next opportunity or you would like to hear more, please 'apply now' and submit your resume!
