As a Contract Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing contracts, procurement, and cost reporting to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.

About the Company:

Our client is a commercial construction company with over 30 years of successful project delivery across Victoria. Known for their strong client relationships, attention to detail, and a hands on approach to construction, this builder delivers high quality projects across the education, health, aged care, government, and commercial sectors.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they are now looking to bring a capable and driven Contract Administrator into their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer head contracts and subcontracts

  • Manage procurement, tender reviews, and award processes

  • Handle project cost control including budgets, forecasts, and reporting

  • Process and track variations, EOTs, RFIs, progress claims, and payments

  • Maintain clear and organised contract documentation

  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

What You'll bring:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry

  • Sound knowledge of Australian construction contracts (e.g., AS2124, AS4000)

  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with construction management software (e.g., Cheops, Jobpac, or similar)

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
