You will work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to execute menu items efficiently while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Tasks & responsibilities

Prepare and cook food according to the recipes, and presentation standards
Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Adhere to food safety and handling standards
Participate in menu updates and seasonal offerings
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations
Help manage inventory and stock control
Collaborating with the chef to improve current menu offering

Qualifications & experience

Holds a Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience as a cook
Strong knowledge of cooking methods and operating kitchen tools
Passion for creating high-quality dishes
