Guneet's Indian Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Melton, VIC, offering a rich selection of authentic Indian cuisine in a welcoming and relaxed setting. We are looking for a qualified Cook for our restaurant.

Cook job responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Prepare high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes.
• Store excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.
• Ensure that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
• Monitor supplies and re-order stock as needed.
• Ensure that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
• Clean and sterilize food preparation areas.
• Assist other team members to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Efficiently resolve problems with customers' orders.
• Ensure that food health and safety regulations are followed.
• Qualification, experience and skills:
• Must have Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Passion for creating delicious and high-quality food.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: 70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
