About the role:Greystar Australia is on the lookout for an ambitious and detail-driven Corporate Accountant to join our growing finance team. Commencing as a 12 month fixed term contract, you will play a critical part of the finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing insightful financial reports, and supporting the Corporate Finance Manager in driving continuous improvement across the business. Key responsibilities: Prepare and analyse key financial reports – balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsReconcile general ledger accounts and maintain clean, accurate financial dataEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirementsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisManage accounts payable and receivable processesSupport external audits and provide required documentationContribute to month-end and year-end close processesIdentify and implement process improvements within corporate financeHelp shape accounting policies and procedures for long-term successProvide insightful financial analysis to help drive strategic decisions To be successful in this role, you should have skills including: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineCA/CPA certification essentialDemonstrated experience in corporate accounting or a similar finance role gained within Big 4 or large multinationalStrong understanding of accounting principles and regulationsHands-on experience with accounting systems – Oracle is a plus!Exceptional analytical skills and keen attention to detailAbility to work both independently and in a collaborative team environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to tell a story with numbers About Greystar: Greystar is a global leader in property management, development, and investment services.
