The Role
We’re looking for a hand on Crane technician to join our skilled crane servicing team. From installing and repairing cranes and hoists to working directly with clients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and reliability on every job.
This role offers the chance for regular FIFO and remote work with leading mining clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service & maintain overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting gear
- Fault diagnosis using electrical & electronic instruments
- Install electrical switchboards and connect systems to power supply
- Test circuits and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Travel to site locations (some FIFO work involved)
- Complete electronic service reports and documentation
- Mentor junior technicians
What You’ll Need
- WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- Background in crane maintenance, mechanical servicing, or comparable industrial equipment roles
- Knowledge of Crane and Lifting standards AS1418 and AS2550 (highly desirable)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- High-risk EWP licence & Working at Heights certification
- WA Driver’s Licence
- Ability to travel/work away when required
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and reporting abilities
- Able to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
