Customer Service Officer

Zoom Recruitment are currently looking for a customer service operator in the steel manufacturing environment based in Cavan. Working in an office environment on a manufacturing site for a 3 month period with potential for an extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone, and in person
• Prepare quotes, manage pricing updates, process payments, and issue credit notes
• Manage and nurture key customer accounts
• Support and maintain accurate data within the CRM system
• Coordinate deliveries and maintain clear communication with customers

Requirements

• Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation abilities
• High attention to detail
• Committed to workplace safety
• Prior logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
• Results-oriented with a proactive approach
