The Position
  
As a Customs Broker, you will play a key role in managing air and sea freight clearances for a wide range of commodities. You will work closely with clients to manage clearances and ensure compliance with customs regulations. As a Customs Broker, you will be required to process an average of 7-10 jobs a day while maintaining high service standards. You will be supported by a team of experienced professionals.
  
The Responsibilities
  • Classify and lodge air and sea freight clearances for a wide range of commodities
  • Process an average of 7-10 jobs a day
  • Liaise with clients regarding customs requirements to expedite clearances
  • Respond to customs inquiries from both colleagues and customers
  • Maintain knowledge on current changes to customs processes and regulations
  • Provide customs advice and support as required
  • Manage tariff concessions and valuation matters
  
The Requirements
It is essential you are a Licensed Customs Broker and you are able to demonstrate:
  • Strong technical knowledge of customs processes and regulations
  • Effective communication skills at multiple levels 
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently and solve problems promptly
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional service to clients
