Job Title: Cyber Security Solutions Architect
Location: Perth, Australia
Contract Duration: Monday, 12th May 2025 – Monday, 30th June 2025
Onsite: 5 days. 7am – 5pm (Monday – Friday).

Job Overview:

NTT Perth is looking to drive continuous improvement in Cyber Security and assist in delivering the Cyber Security Strategy under specific work streams as directed. This role will report to the Cyber Security Program Manager and requires strong technical experience in the roles of a Security Architect and Cyber Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, reviewing, and maintaining robust security systems to protect the organization’s digital assets. Additionally, the candidate should be highly skilled in reviewing cloud-based applications to ensure security features like encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection systems are properly implemented. This role involves assessing risks, developing appropriate security policies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The candidate will collaborate with existing IT teams to create secure systems that align with the organization’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for various systems and networks.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity architectures to safeguard enterprise systems and data.
  • Lead risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and enhance security posture.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on existing infrastructure, including development-related systems, to identify potential threats.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging security trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to create secure systems that align with the organization’s objectives.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Availability from 7am – 5pm (Monday – Friday).
  • Exposure to larger organizations (10,000+ employees).
  • Ability to proficiently translate complex technical terminology into a business context.
  • Effective facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
