Cyber Security Specilaist - GRC

We are working closely with one of our government clients to secure them an experienced Cyber Security Specialist – GRC to work in a collaborative high-performing team environment with their Cyber Security Unit to lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives that protect and enhance our digital landscape.

In this role, you will:

• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of their Information Security Management System;
• Develop, maintain, and enhance information security policies, frameworks, standards, procedures, and roadmaps;
• Establish and manage information security risk management and classification processes in line with Government standards;
• Conduct technical threat and risk assessments, as well as security classification assessments;
• Coordinate and execute cyber security assurance activities such as vulnerability management and Microsoft Purview-based initiatives; nad
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to champion cyber security best practices.

• Proven experience in cyber security governance, risk, and compliance;
• Strong understanding of ISMS frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001), risk management methodologies, and information classification standards;
• Ability to perform high-level technical threat assessments and deliver strategic recommendations;
• Exceptional communication skills and experience engaging senior stakeholders; and
• Qualifications in CISM, CISSP or ISO27001 desirable.
