Located in either our Melbourne or Sydney office, you are the Data Analytics Lead in the Data+Technology team. As the Data Analytics Lead, your primary responsibility is to utilise advanced analytics and statistical methods to derive actionable insights from data sets to drive informed decision-making for our client projects and internal products. You will design and utilise statistical principles and methods to gather, organise, and interpret numerical data, and employ statistical techniques to generate reports. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data analytics, including media tagging and analytics integrations, auditing client tech stacks, developing data visualizations and dashboards, managing attribution streams, and supporting special data projects. Additionally, you will be instrumental in mentoring the team and fostering a data-driven culture within our organisation. You will report into the Chief Data and Technology Officer (CDTO). A day in the life: Collaborate closely with the Chief Data & Technology Officer (CDTO), Chief Media Officer (CMO), the engineering and media team to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that supports creative tech projects, media analytics, digital analytics, and bespoke client engineering requirements. Act as a key advisor on data strategy, contributing insights and recommendations that align with the company's goals and client needs. Apply your SQL skills to query databases and extract valuable insights from large datasets. Implement and optimize media tagging across client campaigns, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting. Work hands-on with Google Marketing Stack and Meta Marketing Stack to configure tracking, analyze performance, and optimize campaigns. Create and maintain BI dashboards using tools like Looker Studio, PowerBI, or Tableau to visualize data and communicate insights effectively. Develop and refine ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality and accessibility across platforms. Audit client tech stacks, understanding current state and defining future roadmap on topics such as Cookieless; ID Sync; Data Ramp onboarding; Privacy Law changes, etc. Implement data models that transform raw data into structured, actionable information. Solving complex business problems that help our clients' businesses perform through advanced analytics and data-driven insights. How will we know if you are the one You're a hands-on data expert who thrives in the MarTech and AdTech ecosystem. You don't just understand the theory, you've rolled up your sleeves and configured these tools yourself. Your experience with Google Marketing Stack and Meta Marketing Stack is practical and extensive, allowing you to navigate these platforms with confidence. Media tagging isn't just a concept to you, it's a skill you've mastered. You understand how to implement and troubleshoot tracking across various platforms to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Creating compelling data visualizations is second nature to you, and you're comfortable building dashboards in Looker Studio, PowerBI, or Tableau that tell meaningful stories from complex datasets. You're excited about emerging technologies and methodologies in data analytics, and you're always looking for ways to enhance our data capabilities. Most importantly, you can translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.
