About the role
Reporting to senior leadership, this Data Engineer role sits in a small, agile team. You’ll design and manage data pipelines, develop internal tools, and support cloud-based workflows to drive business transformation.

They have a fantastic modern office and collaborative culture, and work in a hybrid set up with 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days remote per week.

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
• Develop internal web portals using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Work with AWS tools like EC2, Lambda, S3, ECR and Amplify
• Integrate external data into internal platforms for analytics
• Drive automation, governance, and system reliability

Skills and experience

• 2–3 years’ experience in DataOps or DevOps
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for front and back-end development
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based SQL platforms
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps workflows
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in financial services is a bonus
