Data entry bookkeeper or accountant

About the role

Geschke Plumbing, a leading provider of high-quality plumbing services in the Melbourne area, is seeking a skilled Data entry bookkeeper or accountant to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in our Keysborough office and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's overall accounting functions.

What you'll be doing

• Accurately entering and processing financial data, including invoices, payments, and expenses

• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining the general ledger

• Data Entry MYOB

• Providing administrative support to the finance and accounting team

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient procedures

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping, or equivalent experience

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping

• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as MYOB

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with small business accounting practices and compliance requirements
