About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Consultant to design, implement and manage data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data governance and cataloguing, specifically with Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC). You should also combine technical expertise with strong business analysis and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver measurable value in large corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to assess organizational needs and design customized data governance frameworksDevelop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data quality, security, privacy, and lifecycle managementLead the implementation of data governance tools and technologies, including metadata management, data catalogues, and lineage trackingDefine roles and responsibilities for data stewardship and ownership across business units and data domainsStay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data governance and enterprise data managementBe an advisor to C-suite executives, data stewards, and business leaders on data governance best practicesFacilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment and adoption of governance initiativesDeliver technical engagements for customers, including participating in pre-sales remote or on-site visitsDevelop and deliver training material to enable business users and IT teams to adopt data governance processes effectivelyProvide overall thought leadership to clients regarding data governance recommendationsGather, document, and analyse both business and technical requirements to address data-related challengesCreate data flow diagrams, process models, and system specifications to support governance implementations as needed
