Delivery Driver

Vanilla Blue is an award-winning corporate caterer, providing nourishing meals to clients across Sydney. We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our fast-paced and well-organised dispatch team.

Our drivers are instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our business. The successful candidate for this role needs to be confident driving a manual van and have street knowledge of Sydney's CBD and North Shore. 

About this role:

• Casual role: $33 per hour + super
• Must be available Tues, Wednesday and Thursday
• Approx. 15 - 20 hours per week
• Shifts will be between 7am – 1 pm weekdays
• We supply the vehicle: manual, 2 tonne van
• Based in Artarmon, 2064

Responsibilities:

• Driving both manual and automatic 2-tonne vans 
• Delivering catering orders to corporate clients
• Collecting equipment from clients
• Use your knowledge of Sydney CBD, incl. laneways, loading zones, etc.
• Display positive customer service with clients
• Lift up to 8kgs unassisted, load and unload vehicles
• Contribute to the positive and friendly team environment

To be successful in the role:

• Minimum 2 years on a full unrestricted drivers license, with a clean driving record 
• Previous work experience as a delivery driver 
• Street knowledge of Sydney CBD and North shore
• Must have physical strength and fitness to carry catering orders
• Able to work unsupervised
• Must have great communication and time management skills
• Clean and professional presentation is required

All drivers will need to pass the following checks. Vanilla Blue will support you to attain any that are missing, should you be offered the role:

• Driving history check
• Drug & alcohol screening
• NSW police check
• Working With Children Check 
• RSA certificate
