Dental Hygienist

About the role

Due to upcoming expansion we are seeking a new team member! As a Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist at Quality Dental Care, you will play a vital role in our team, responsible for providing professional dental hygiene services to our patients.

This is a casual position based in our modern dental practice in Brighton, SA 5048.

What you'll be doing

• Performing thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures

• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care

• Assisting dentists with examinations and treatments

• Maintaining detailed patient records and treatment plans

• Ensuring a high standard of infection control and occupational health and safety practices

What we're looking for

• Current AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist

• Ideally Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a dental practice, but happy to accommodate less clinic experience for the right candidate.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

• Proficiency in using dental software (D4W) and electronic patient records

• Flexible and adaptable to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Availability of 2-3 days per week including one evening and some Saturday morning sessions.

• Knowledge of intra-oral scanning & EMS airflow.
