Dental Technician - Full time position

Benefits

Package: $75,000 per annum plus superannuation
Full time position (38 hours a week)
On going support and training will be provided
Work along side with principal dentist fabricating digital orthodontic, general dental, prosthodontics and cosmetic appliances all under direction of experienced professionals.

Task & Responsibilities

Your duties will include

Designing and creating full and partial dentures.
Fabricating various fixed, active, passive and Functional Orthodontic Appliances
Fabricate Orthodontic appliances. Fixed/removable
Fabricate Occlusal splints
Fabricate Mouthguard
Build and print 3D Digital models
Manage Digital workflow
Manage Technical work for Cephalometic analysis
Manage Archform or similar simulation software to plan orthodontic treatments and visualize tooth movements in 3D.
Technical work for Digital Orthodontic treatment planning with Archform or similar softwares following dentist instructions.
Maintain a clean and organised laboratory environment.
Repairing and relining denture bases.

We expect you have

Experience to work unsupervised doing above tasks.
Good communication skills as you will be working directly and following instructions from dentists.
Wire bending and soldering skills for orthodontic appliances
Professional presentation
A passion for high-quality craftsmanship and a dedication to patient care
Good time management skills.
Must have full Australian working rights

Qualification & Experience

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of an Advanced Diploma or Diploma and at least 1 year of specific relevant work experience or 3 years of experience to substitute formal qualification
Bilingual communication both technical English and Spanish, written and verbal (preferred)
Dental related professionals with experience in Dental Technician and Digital Orthodontics welcome to apply.
Experience in Orthodontic treatment planning is highly required.
