Join the M.J. Bale team as a Design Intern and gain hands-on experience in fashion and graphic design within one of Australia’s leading menswear brands.

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented individual to contribute to our creative projects, assist in developing design concepts, support marketing and product design initiatives, and help maintain brand consistency across all platforms. You'll work closely with our design team, participate in brainstorming sessions, and be part of bringing innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and production of design concepts.

• Support the creation of visual elements for marketing, digital content, and product designs.

• Conduct research on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity.

• Help maintain brand consistency across all materials.

• Participate in design meetings and contribute ideas to creative projects.

• Assist with the creation of prototypes or samples under senior guidance.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and colour theory.

• Ability to take creative direction, implement feedback, and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Previous experience working on design or visual communication projects (internships or freelance work welcome).

• Portfolio showcasing your creative work and eye for aesthetics.
