Our team of engineers, meteorologists, physicists, and IT specialists is growing, and we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to contribute to the development and reliability of our energy management solutions.
About the RoleAs a DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain the systems and processes that ensure the reliable delivery of our software and infrastructure. You will work closely with our development, analytics, and engineering teams to automate deployments, monitor systems, and build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive to continuously improve the performance, resilience, and security of our technology platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesCI/CD Pipelines – Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for fast, reliable, and automated software releases.
Monitoring and Alerting – Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system visibility and rapid incident response.
High Availability and Scalability – Design and maintain systems that support high availability, fault tolerance, and scaling to meet demand.
Zero-Downtime Deployments – Develop deployment strategies that allow for seamless software updates with no service interruptions.
Security Best Practices – Integrate security into build, deployment, and operational processes, ensuring compliance with cloud and industry standards.
Release Management – Establish structured, documented, and transparent release processes with clear changelogs and tracking.
System Improvements – Continuously refine system performance, cost-efficiency, reliability, and operational workflows in Azure cloud environments.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools).
Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor).
Solid understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
Experience implementing security controls in cloud environments (e.g., Azure Security Center, identity and access management).
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is advantageous.
Positive, solutions-focused mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills.
Experience with Azure services including VM management, backups, networking, and security architecture.
Familiarity with VPN setup and integrations between client systems and cloud infrastructure.
