HEAVY VEHICLE DIESEL MECHANIC: Join Australia’s Leading Sustainable Materials Supplier. We are looking for full-time Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join our team on the day shift. Working out of our Laverton North Workshop, you’ll be maintaining and repairing our road transport fleet, earthmoving equipment, and machinery. In This Role, You Will Mainly work on our truck fleet, with the option to work on heavy earthmoving machineryInspect and diagnose faults and the condition of our vehiclesIdentify any worn or damaged partsCarry out preventative maintenance services, maintaining vehicle recordsComplete and submit the necessary paperwork and reports What’s In It For You From $45 per hour, plus penalties, plus superMonday to Friday day shift, standard hours 6:00am – 3:30pm with additional overtime availableSaturday shifts on offer, but not mandatoryPotential for afternoon shift hours on offerOnsite vehicle to useAll uniform and equipment suppliedAn unwavering safety culture, and a great team to work withOngoing training and development, in transport and other disciplinesOpportunities for flexible working arrangements This Role Is a Great Fit If You Are a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel MechanicHold a valid white card, or willing to obtain oneHave a commitment to safetyHave experience with heavy equipment, such as trucks and earthmoving equipment (preferred)Experience with Kenworth/Mack/Volvo equipment preferred, not essentialLike working in a clean, modern, and well-lit workshopWant to work with a great team All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening.
