About the Role

We require a competent trade qualified Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician to join our dynamic team on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of industrial engines, marine drivelines and various equipment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and associated components. 
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and computerised controls. 
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups. 
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex issues. 
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects. 
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed.

About you

• Relevant trade qualifications in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or Auto Electrical. 
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician, preferably in the marine industry, but not essential. 
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. 
• Proficiency in using a wide range of tools, equipment, and diagnostic software. 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
