Vic Wide Mobile Diesel Repairs situated in Sunshine VIC is currently seeking to hire qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join their servicing department. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on trucks, buses and other heavy plant machinery/equipment, lift, earth moving equipment and waste compacters
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, construction/plant equipment, lift, earth moving equipment and waste compacters
• Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on Trucks, construction/plant equipment, lift, earth moving equipment and waste compacters.
• Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Trucks, construction/plant equipment, lift equipment, earth moving and waste compacters.

Skills & Abilities:

• Ideally have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
• A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant
