Diesel Mechanics (x2) – North Brisbane | $50/hr + Penalties
Key Details:
- $50 per hour + penalties (time and a half after 38 hours, no double time)
- 40–60 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call allowance: $28 per day, plus 4 hours at time and a half for each callout
- Work across a range of European, Japanese, and American trucks and earthmoving equipment.
About the Role:
We are seeking two skilled Diesel Mechanics to join a leading team based in North Brisbane. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining, and carrying out breakdown repairs on trucks and earthmoving machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Performing basic welding, hydraulic, and electrical work
- Working with a variety of major clients
- Participating in the on-call breakdown service roster

What We’re Looking For:
- Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle or equivalent)
- Proven experience with trucks and/or earthmoving equipment
- Competency in basic welding, hydraulics, and electrical work
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Reliable, positive, and team-focused attitude
- Full Australian working rights
- Open Driver’s Licence (HR Licence highly regarded)
