We are seeking a Diesel Technician within our Operations and Technical Support Department with an understanding of MTU, Detroit Diesel and Allison product lines. The prime objective of the role includes completing work instructions as directed and instructed, supporting the complete Service Team and providing pro-active customer service and deal directly with customers.

Task & Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities 

  • Complete Work Instructions as directed and instructed. 
  • Assist in completing appropriate Job Reports to ensure accurate record of tasks completed.
  • Utilise to maximum advantage, production information publications and technical data.
  • Utilise resources to ensure maximum efficiency for ultimate benefit of customers and clients.
  • Sign off on Job Instruction with supervisor at job completion to ensure complaint rectified.
  • Undertake and perform all appropriate pre-delivery tests and inspections to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Participate in the orderly development of Work Instructions.
  • Participate in field service activities.
  • Be attentive and sensitive to customer requirements and needs by adopting and maintaining a diligent attitude to work practices. 
Qualification & Experience

Cert III in Heavy Mechanics or equivalent

Detailed practical working knowledge of the operation of appropriate Penske machinery, tools and equipment.

Sound technical knowledge and experience in MTU, Detroit Diesel and Allison product lines.
