1. Collaborate with the room leader to develop and implement centre-wide initiatives and improvements. Actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest trends and practices in early childhood education.
2. Take initiative in identifying areas for improvement within the room and suggest innovative solutions. Proactively contribute to the centre’s quality improvement plan and work towards achieving its goals.
3. Cultivate a supportive and inclusive team culture by encouraging teamwork, celebrating achievements, and fostering a sense of belonging among staff members.
4. Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through professional development courses, workshops, and conferences. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.

Tasks and responsibility:
Not only are you responsible for the staff, children, programming and planning etc. It’s up to you work within your room to create a unified unit within the centre. You need to develop trust in those around you and also provide assistance and be supportive to other staff in the room. Be someone who can suggest ideas, give positive feedback, a role model, an effective team leader... these are the qualities and responsibilities required.
Certificate three and Diploma Qualification - Or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years' experience in same or similar role.
Ability to demonstrate success of role in the past.

Karratha Early Learning is a long daycare service located in the Pilbara region of WA. We are licensed to care for up to 58 children a day ranging from 0-5 years of age.
