Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH), Nursing Services are looking for a Director of Nursing to join their team. PAH is a tertiary health care centre, providing care in major adult nursing specialties to patients throughout Queensland and Australia. As a member of the PAH executive, the Director of Nursing Services is the single point of accountability for the effective leadership and management for the nursing profession and any other positions as required at the PAH.

About The Role
The Director of Nursing (DON) PAH leads the nursing services at PAH. The provision of leadership from the DON PAH will maximise the potential of nursing to enhance patient health outcomes for the PAH, in collaboration with the EDNM and the MSH Nursing and Midwifery Executive Council.The DON PAH is responsible for the facilitation and coordination of nursing services at the PAH in collaboration with the PAH nursing executive team and the MSH EDNM. This group is responsible for the planning and development needs of nursing and the management of issues related to nursing professional and clinical standards and the quality of nursing care through excellence in clinical and corporate governanceThe DON PAH is a member of the PAH executive and corporate leadership team and is accountable for achieving the alignment of PAH service delivery strategies and the corporate strategic objectives of Queensland Health.
