Your Role: As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll provide vital assistance to participants in Footscray, ensuring they can live comfortably, safely, and independently. Your responsibilities will include:

Personal Care Support: Assisting with daily personal care tasks, including dressing, bathing, and grooming.

Domestic Assistance: Helping with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

Community Engagement: Supporting participants to engage in the community and participate in social, educational, and recreational activities.

Encouragement & Empowerment: Promoting independence by encouraging participants to complete tasks for themselves while providing the support they need.

Transportation Assistance: Assisting participants with travel to appointments or community activities when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

A caring, compassionate, and patient attitude toward people with disabilities.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with participants.

A genuine passion for improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.

Flexibility and adaptability in meeting the diverse needs of participants.

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).

A valid driver’s license and own transport (desirable).
