If you are tired of only earning a minimum wage, in a job that doesn’t value you or your values, come and work as a support worker with Righteous Community Care Services. We are seeking Support Workers to provide quality support and care to our continuously growing number of clients.

About you

You are adaptable and resilient, have a positive and person-centered approach, qualified and motivated with experience in supporting participants with challenging behaviors. You will aid with all aspects of daily living, including meals, personal care, domestic duties, social and community participation, and varying skill development activities.

This is a hands-on role, suitable for active individuals. Above all else, we seek team members who strive to develop genuine relationships with not only the people they support but also other staff members.

Essential

To be considered for this role the following credentials are essential:

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Both NDIS Online Modules (Orientation & Induction)
  • Min Cert III in Disability, Community Services or Individual Support, or similar
  • National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months)
  • Valid Australian Driver’s License
  • Current Right to Work within Australia
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate

The following certifications (or working towards) will be highly regarded:

  • Assist with Medication Certificate
  • Certificate in Disability Care

Desirable

Experience with working with people with complex behaviours is highly recommended including Autism & Mental Health Comorbidities.

  • Experience with hygiene & dressing clients.
  • Comfortable working with people with a range of disabilities.
  • Ability to build and manage friendly relationships within a team environment.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to prioritize & work under pressure.

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
