Future Butterfly is currently building a dedicated team of Female Disability Support Workers for a new client based in Altona—and we’re looking for the right people who want to make a lasting impact.

Our client is an ambulant male in his 50s, living with extreme anxiousness and social isolation. He finds it very difficult to leave the house alone but dreams of being able to go out for a coffee, see a movie, take a walk, or head out on long countryside drives.

He’s looking for a small, consistent team of three warm, reliable, and proactive DSWs to help him slowly re-engage with the community and rebuild his confidence.

About the ideal DSW:

  • Friendly, calm, and not overly chatty
  • Confident setting clear and supportive boundaries
  • Proactive without being pushy
  • Enjoys movies, long drives, quiet cafés, nature, and conversation when it’s welcome
  • Holds a full driver’s licence and comprehensive insurance
  • Has completed the NDIS Worker Screening Check and holds all NDIS-required documentation and certificates

About the role:

  • Altona-based
  • Shifts will build slowly, starting small and gradually increasing to approximately 8 hours
  • You will be part of a team of 4 DSWs working to help this participant engage socially, join community groups, and ultimately live a fuller, more connected life
  • You’ll be supported every step of the way by the Future Butterfly team
  • This is a rare opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s journey from isolation to independence

About Future Butterfly:
We’re not just another NDIS provider. We’re participant-led, values-driven, and passionate about delivering care that transforms. We offer some of the most competitive rates in the industry, and we invest heavily in our team—because we know that great care starts with great people.

Interested?
If this sounds like something you’d love to be part of, please reply with:

  • A short bio (age, hobbies, experience, and what makes you a good fit)
  • A recent photo (preferred by client to ease anxiety)
  • Your availability and location

Future Butterfly will reach out to you for a quick chat to confirm suitability before introducing you to the client.

We’re excited to support this participant as he begins his journey—and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

Warm regards,
The Future Butterfly Team
