SASS are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker in Ashwood, the South East Suburb of Melbourne, to join our support team.

This is a great opportunity for Support Workers to secure a role with a fast growing provider of Quality NDIS services setting new standards in disability care.

We are seeking a support worker for the following days and times:

  • Tuesdays every week: 7 am - 11.30 am
  • Thursdays every week: 4 pm - 7.15 pm
  • Fridays every week: 7 am - 9.30 am
  • Every second Friday - 4 pm - 7 pm

You'll provide care to a participant in their home and local community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

  • Daily living assistance, help at meal times and general mobility
  • Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
  • Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments

What you'll need:

  • Cert III Individual Support (Disability) or Cert IV in Disability
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
  • Current National Police Check
  • Drivers License, your own vehicle and full Comprehensive Insurance
  • First Aid (HLTAID011) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (HLTAID009)
  • Current Working with Children Check

Pay: $33.96 – $43.08 per hour
