Document Controller

Our client is a highly respected commercial construction company delivering large-scale projects across Sydney. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Document Controller to join their team. 

As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient document management across multiple construction projects.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and maintain document control processes, including distributing all required project information
• Maintaining and updating the document control database and ensuring the timely preparation of document control reports as required.
• Assisting the project team with document distribution and version control
• Implementation of document control processes and procedures. 
• Updating and tracking document changes and approvals
• Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to maintain accurate records
• Assist with the preparation of internal and external audits
• Accurate use and developing software's such as Aconex and SharePoint 

About you: 

• Minimum 2 years experience in document control role within the construction or engineering field. 
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Aconex and SharePoint
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work autonomously
