Dog Groomer

As a Dog Groomer, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional grooming services to our furry clientele. In addition to grooming, you will also be responsible for assisting with check-ins and check-outs, maintaining cleanliness within the salon, and being a valuable team player. Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services, including bathing, brushing, and styling, based on the specific needs and preferences of each dog.
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes and breeds, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process.
- Assist in check-ins and check-outs, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth transition for customers and their pets.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing grooming tools and equipment after each use.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and industry standards to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all dogs in your care.
- Manage time effectively to meet appointment schedules and ensure that all dogs receive the attention and care they deserve.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a harmonious and supportive work environment.
- Continuously stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, styles, and trends to provide the best services to our clients.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with a strong portfolio showcasing your grooming skills.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds, their coat types, and grooming requirements.
- Proficient in using grooming tools and equipment, such as clippers, shears, and grooming brushes.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience, kindness, and confidence.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetic appeal in grooming.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Exceptional time management skills to efficiently handle multiple grooming appointments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Supplementary Pay:

• Christmas bonus
