About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Donor and Surrogacy Team Leader to join our team at IVFAustralia (IVFA), Greenwich, Sydney NSW. This is a hands-on role that blends patient care, program coordination, and leadership responsibilities within the Donor and Surrogacy Program.

Reporting to the Head of Donor Program, the successful candidate will oversee the operations of donor and surrogacy processes, collaborating closely with patients, fertility specialists, and the broader healthcare team to ensure seamless program delivery. You will be supported in developing expertise in compliance, team leadership, and workflow coordination while also managing escalations and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Program Delivery

• Provide expert support to donors, recipients, and surrogates.

• Manage patient journeys, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Conduct patient information sessions and assist fertility specialists in patient management.

• Maintain accurate records and oversee donor waiting lists.

• Build strong rapport with patients, ensuring a compassionate and supportive experience.

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when engaging with patients and team members.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Operational Leadership & Support

• Act as the first point of escalation for operational or clinical concerns.

• Ensure compliance with donor limits, approvals, and legislative requirements.

• Support rostering, timesheets, and team workflow coordination.

• Provide education, mentoring, and leadership to the donor team.

• Manage administrative processes, including office administration and accounts receivable.

• Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills to balance multiple priorities.

• Work both autonomously and collaboratively, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.

Who We're Looking For

We’re seeking a highly motivated leader with a passion for reproductive health and patient care. The ideal candidate will have:

·       Leadership Experience

·       Experience in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)

·       Experience coordinating donor and surrogacy programs

·       Strong problem-solving and communication skills

·       Ability to balance patient care with leadership and operational tasks

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Assisted Reproductive Technology laws and regulations.

• Experience handling compliance and regulatory requirements in fertility services.
