Drafting Team Leader

Company OverviewOur client is an Australian home building company specialising in volume residential builds. With a national footprint spanning several states, they are well known and trusted in the industry. Due to continued growth, our client is now looking for an experienced Drafting Team Leader to lead their team. Role OverviewBased in Adelaide and reporting to the State Operations Manager, this role is responsible for providing leadership to the drafting services team and driving drafting accuracy and efficiency. This role will also be responsible for facilitating the coordination of the Drafting team’s targets and workflow whilst mentoring, training and supporting the team where required. The Drafting Team Leader will provide oversight of the production of drawings, providing drawings and documentations for tenders, masters, contracts, council lodgements and site purposes. Skills, Knowledge, ExperienceThe successful candidate must have previous experience in a volume residential building drafting role and proficiency in ArchiCAD, along with a knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), ResCode, and Australian Standards in relation to residential construction. You must have the ability to work as a part of a team, have a proactive approach to problem solving and possess excellent communication skills.
