Glendun Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experience Drainer.

Suitable candidates are expected to be able to perform the following duties:

  • Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems, including stormwater, sewer, and wastewater pipelines.
  • Ensure proper system design, installation, and compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections of drainage systems and address any issues, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, other tradespeople, and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Provide on-site guidance and technical expertise to junior team members.
  • Adhere to company safety practices and industry best practices.
  • Communicate with clients about work progress, project timelines, and any required maintenance.

· Design and install water supply system from dam to crushers for dust suppression

· Ensure water system meets the crushing operations needs

· Liaise with Stakeholders to ensure compliance with WHS conditions

Qualifications:

· A qualification in Drainage (such as a Certificate III in Drainage) or an equivalent recognized in Australia.

· Demonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems, including sewer and stormwater systems.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems, equipment, and materials.

· Current Australian driver's license. Relevant drainage license (where required by state/territory).

· Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, digging, and working in confined spaces.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with CCTV inspections of drains and pipelines.
  • First aid and safety certifications.
  • Knowledge of the local plumbing and drainage codes and regulations.
